Dr. Hope Chinyere Ilorah Chikaodi

LIBRARIAN

Dr. Hope Chinyere Ilorah Chikaodi is the Deputy University Librarian Festus AghagboNwako Library, NnamdiAzikiwe University, Awka. She is also a Lecturer (Reader) in the Department of Library and Information Science. Dr. Chikaodi holds a BLS (IMSU), MLS and a Ph.D in Library and Information Science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She started her career as LIS practitioner at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka when she was employed as an Assistant Librarian. Through hardworking and dedication, she has progressed and made a notable mark in Librarianship. Dr. Chikaodi has several articles published in highly rated reputable Impact Factor-rated journals. She has presented papers in both National and International Conferences. She is an author and editor and has contributed many chapters in highly recommended books. Dr. Chikaodi is a chartered member of Nigerian Library Association. She is an active participant in NLA conferences where she has presented many papers. She has served in NLA Anambra State Chapter as Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Secretary to the Editorial Board. She is interested in Library Administration, ICT, Entrepreneurship and Research. Dr. Chikaodi is of the Christian faith, married to Deacon James Chikaodi Ilorah and with lovely children.
