Although anyone can seek help from librarians or any library staff member, the Faculty Liaison Librarians are dedicated to meeting the research needs of their assigned faculty. Library regulations
• Students must have valid ID cards/photocopy of admission letter
• All library books being taken out of the library must be properly borrowed.
• Books borrowed must be returned by the due date and is renewable.
• Books not returned when due will attract fine
• Users must pay the full replacement costs for any item which is lost, damaged or stolen whilst on loan to them
• Do not mutilate or rough handle library books
• Users must comply with the terms of the Copyright Act, and with any restrictions imposed by manufacturers and/or publishers. This applies to both electronic and printed resources.
• Users must return all of the items on loan to you before leaving, resigning or retiring from the University
• Bags are not allowed inside the library. It should be deposited at the cloakroom provided for such purposes.
• No food or drinks are allowed inside the library. Users should refrain from eating in the library
• Noisy discussion are not allowed inside the library
• Feel free to raise any issues you have about noise levels in the library with the library staff
• All handsets are required to be switched off or put in silence mode while using the library
• The library has dress code; indecent dressing and flamboyant dressing such as ‘agbada’ are not allowed in the library.
• Please treat the library environment and equipment with respect and report any damages immediately to any library staff
• Do not leave your personal effects unattended. The library is not liable for the loss or misplacement of your personal belongings.
• When going out, present all your books and submit yourself to the porters and security personnel on duty for checking
E-registration Service
It is mandatory for every staff and student to register with the library. The registration is done online via this link:https://forms.gle/zzxDQKQ84s6tetoP6. After the online registration, the staff and student will proceed to the Circulation Desk for registration completion. He/she will be issued with two borrower’s tickets and a library ID card.
Registration Requirement
One (1) passport photograph (current passport showing the two ears)
A photocopy of student admission letter or current school I.D. card
A copy of student current payment of school fees print out.
Wireless network access
Wireless network access is available throughout the library and sit out areas. Users can access the wi-fi network by selecting the NAU-Wifi account from the list of available networks on their laptops or mobile devices and log in with their Unizik email address and password.
Suggest a Purchase
Users are encouraged to communicate their suggestions either through the suggestion box by the library exit; through the reference librarian; or via the Suggestions form on the library website. Written requests and communications are also welcome from Deans of Faculties and Heads of Department.

Reference/ Reader Advisory Services

Book Study Space
Carrels for independent study and research are available. Carrels are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Due to high demand, carrels cannot be reserved in advance.
