Professor Mercy Ifeyinwa Anyaegbu

LIBRARIAN

Professor Mercy Ifeyinwa Anyaegbu is a chartered librarian and holds a doctoral degree from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She is presently, the Digital Librarian in Prof. Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library. Prof. Anyaegbu started work in Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 1993 as an Assistant librarian. She has risen to the position of a professor. She has dual appointment as a lecturer in Library and Information Department. She is a postgraduate supervisor and has supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Prof. Anyaegbu has garnered experience from various sections of the university library. She has served in various committees of the university. She is a member of the Nigerian Library Association and Nigerian Association of Law Libraries. She has bagged Vice Chancellor’s merit award on three different occasions and has received letters of commendation from University Librarians she has worked with. Prof Anyaegbu is widely travelled and has presented papers in many national and international conferences. Her research interest includes citation analysis, legal research and ICT. Prof. Anyaegbu is both an author and editor.
